Global Oceanic Carriers Limited (AIM: GOC) announces it has been informed that as of close of business on Tuesday, 9 May 2006, Trafalgar Asset Managers has under discretionary management the following holdings in the Company:

| Trafalgar Catalyst Fund | 3,209,728 | 16.04 |
| Trafalgar Recovery Fund | 3,365,444 | 16.81 |
The total holding of these two funds in the Company is 6,575,172 shares representing 32.85 per cent. of the issued share capital of Global Oceanic Carriers Limited.
As previously announced it was ruled that the Company does not fall under the Takeover Code requirements regarding significant shareholdings. However under the Company's articles of association it is a requirement that the Company be informed of all significant purchases or sale of shares.
