ATHENS, GREECE – February 5, 2008 – Global Oceanic Carriers Limited (AIM:GOC) (the “Company”), a global provider of marine transportation services for dry bulk cargoes, announces today that on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 7:00 a.m. GMT, the Company will release its interim results for the six months ended November 30, 2007.

The same day, at 4:00 p.m. GMT, 11:00 a.m. EST or 6:00 p.m. Greek time the Company’s management will host a conference call to discuss the results.
