Statement re: share price movement

The Directors of Global Oceanic Carriers Limited, the Greek based drybulk shipping company, have noted today's fall in the Company's share price. The Directors would like to re-confirm that they remain confident in the Company's prospects as global demand for dry bulk cargos continues to grow.

The Company is trading profitably and continues to produce significant operating cash flow.
